Microsoft Socl Launch Fail
We’re all for new social media platforms. And these days, they just keep on rolling out. Microsoft’s Socl launched to the general public this week. The channel takes on a Pinterest-type approach, with a central focus on delivering visual content – some of which may be a little too explicit for the PG-13 crowd.
The homepage displays user-created collages of all areas of interest, from Disney animals, to SEO tutorials, to…pornography? Within hours, the new social network was evidently suffering from #pornproblems. Looks to us like Microsoft needs to adjust the filters – unless it would rather be known as Pinterest’s “naughty sister.”
